BNKD Gauteng Employee Recognition Awards 2023
The Bonakude Annual Year End functions have officially begun, incorporating our highly anticipated 2023 Employee Recognition Awards; where recognition is given to our well-deserving staff for their hard work, dedication, loyalty and team spirit! This year we kicked-off our first event at our Gauteng branch. Congratulations to our winners from the GP office!
Siqiniseko Gumbi
Siqiniseko Gumbi received the Innovation Award. This is a National Award recognising an employee who has developed an original idea that had a positive effect on the operations, policy and/or procedure of the company. Siqiniseko is the first ever BNKD recipient of this award.
Samkelisiwe Mtshali
Samkelisiwe Mtshali was awarded the Long Service Award. This award is conferred to employees who have completed 5 years of continuous paid service at Bonakude.
Thato Kubheka
Thato Kubheka received the All-Rounder Award. This award is given to an employee in recognition for achieving excellence in their business unit, and being the best worker across most business units.
Siphelele Myeni
Siphelele Myeni received a total of three awards:
1. Employee of the year: In recognition of the most outstanding, responsible, and dependable employee who delivered quality performance throughout the year
2. Night Owl [Winner]: In recognition for keeping the most late hours
3. BonaPerson Award: In recognition for consistently living by the values of Bonakude, and demonstrating the spirit of teamwork by offering support to fellow employees
Wallace Makamure
Wallace Makamure was awarded the Night-Owl Award [Runner-Up]. This office award recognizes an employee for keeping the second-most late hours.
Axoliswe Duze
Axoliswe Duze received a Night Owl Award.
This award acknowledges their commitment to working late hours, keeping up with the latest trends and developments in their field, and making significant contributions to their organization on a national level.
Olwethu Makhetha
Olwethu Makhetha’s exceptional work ethic and dedication have earned them a well-deserved spot among the top 10 employees to receive the Night Owl Award.
Reagile Nyama
Reagile Nyama was one of the top 10 employees who have received a Night Owl Award. Her recognition as a Night Owl Award recipient is a testament to their valuable contributions and commitment to excellence.
Sifiso Ncanana
Sifiso Ncanana received a Night Owl Award. This accolade is in appreciation of their consistent dedication to working late hours.
Four recipients were from the Johannesburg office, following the Night Owl Winner and Runner-up.
Regional Team
The Regional Team of the Year for 2023 was found in the Corporate Services Division, Johannesburg office. The award highlights the dedication, collaboration, and excellent work ethic of the team. Congratulations to the team for embodying the spirit of working together to achieve outcomes.
