We support the Truevine Business Network, which is a church-based initiative that seeks to equip and empower existing and aspiring businesspeople within and outside the church, to successfully run their own businesses.
Strong Families Foundation
We also support the Strong Families Foundation which is a non-profit organization committed to promote family life and strengthen families in communities. This foundation seeks to empower individuals and families to play their requisite roles and responsibilities in their communities, country and in the world, and this is very much in line with our CSR Strategy.

At Bonakude, meaningful impact begins with responding to the real needs of the communities we serve. Our Back-To-School Initiative is one of the most tangible ways we put that belief into action. What started 15 years ago as a simple act of kindness by Mrs. Mtshali, the mother of Bonakude CEO Vela Mtshali, has grown into a structured annual initiative that continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of learners across KwaZulu-Natal.
Each year, Bonakude donates 100 pairs of quality school shoes to learners from underprivileged schools, helping to remove a barrier to education while restoring dignity, comfort, and confidence. Through this initiative, Bonakude also supports local economic empowerment by partnering with Black-owned supplier Samke Style Footwear, and works alongside the Family Worship Center Church Welfare team to ensure every handover is carried out with care and dignity.
