These promotions are very much in line with one of our key strategic objectives for this financial year, i.e. to strengthen organisational human capital and leadership capacity. It is worth highlighting that, when our CEO, Vela Mtshali co-founded BNKD 11 years ago, he was still in his youth, aged 32 at the time.

 

Currently, youth constitutes 84% of our total staff compliment of 109 employees, with an average employee age of 31 years. It is based on this backdrop that BNKD remains committed towards prioritising youth recruitment, development and empowerment.
